The galactic dimension of the universe, with its infinite reflections, has captivated contemporary glass artist Abby Modell. Supernova bursts of light, swirling formations and the possibility of life on other planets have inspired Modell to imagine futuristic interstellar landscapes. Modern hand-blown glass creations include Sculptural Vessels, expansive Wall Installations and LED Sculptural Lighting. Highlights of her design career include public, private and corporate collections. The artist exhibits at prestigious fine art fairs and galleries around the country. Abby Modell lives and works in New York, where she has been creating hand-blown glass since 2008.
